2010 IMA Brookwood Golf Club Special Events

April 24 & 25:  39th Annual Spring 2-Man Best Ball
$40 Season Passholders, $60 per person Non-Season Passholders.  Entry fee includes greens fees for two days, gift certificates, trophies and door prizes.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.  Click here for a downloadable registration form.

April & May "Get Golf Ready"
5 lesson program instructed by PGA Teaching Professional Joe Simpson.  Designed to teach you in five short lessons everything you'll need to know to step onto a golf course and get out to play with confidence.  Classes are limited to 10 students.  Sunday group begins April 25 and runs through May 23.  Wednesday group begins April 28 and runs through May 26.  $99 includes the series of five lessons.  To register contact Joe Simpson at (810) 516-5177.

Monday, May 10:  Spring Senior Scramble
$35 per person includes 18 holes of golf, cart and greens fee, donuts and coffee in the morning, luncheon following play, prizes and awards presentation.  Open to men and women ages 50+. 
Two divisions this year (ages 50-59 and ages 60+).  9:00 am shotgun.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.

Friday, June 4:  Women's Wine & Nine
30 minute ladies golf clinic, 9-holes of golf with cart, wine tasting with hors' doeuvres and prizes.  
Lots of fun for players of all abilities.  Registration fee:  $50 per player.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.
 
June 23 - August 11:  IMA Brookwood Junior Golf Academy
One hour clinic per week for 6 weeks with a junior awards tournament and banquet on the seventh week.  Offered to kids ages 5 to 14 years of age, instruction is age appropriate.  Instructed by PGA Teaching Professional Joe  $95 per student.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.

June 25 - 27:  Genesee County Amateur Championship
Come see who the best of the best is at the Genesee County Amateur Championship.  Three Divisions are offered including the Open Division (any age), the Senior Division (50-62) & the Super Senior Division (63+).  Open & Senior Divisions play 54 Holes (June 26-28) & the Super Senior Division plays 36 Holes (June 27 & 28).  Registration fees begin at $65.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop. 

Tuesday, August 17:  IMA Brookwood Junior Championship
Come see who the best junior golfers are this year at the IMA Junior Golf Championship.  Open to boys and girls ages 12-18, this 18-hole tournament will run as a shotgun start.  Divisions will be flighted by age:  Flight 1: Ages 12-15   Flight 2: Ages 16-18.  Boys and Girls Divisions offered. 
Entry fee is $35 per player and includes 18 holes of golf (walking), tee gift, awards luncheon immediately following play, trophies for each age division, prizes and contests.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.

Friday, August 27:  Couples 9-Hole Scramble
New event at IMA Brookwood!  9-Hole scramble beginning at 5pm followed by a beautiful steak dinner at Brokwood!  $75 per couple includes driving range, 9-holes of golf with cart and dinner.  Register on-line or in the golf pro shop.
