IMA Kids Golf Classic

It was a great day for golf at the 11th Annual Kids Golf Classic on June 19, 2009 held at IMA Brookwood Golf Club.  This event supports the IMA Recreation Association and raised over $5,800 through fun course contests, raffle ticket sales, etc. to support the mission of providing recreational programs and opportunities for children and families throughout Genesee County.  Approximately 50 people participated this year and were treated to 18 holes of beautiful golf, a hole-in-one contest, closest to the pin and longest drive contests, great prizes, and a delicious steak dinner!  IMA programs suppor sports, recreation and education while fostering good citizenship and team efforts.  We look forward to another fun and worthwhile event in 2010!
