Wine, Women & Chocolate Print E-mail

burgundy_WWC_logo.cropprd_173_x_354THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the
Fifth Annual Wine, Women and Chocolate
a SUCCESS!

The 5th Annual Wine, Women and Chocolate event was a success with about 275 women participating.  Despite the lack of snow, some women still tried out the cross-country skis and snowshoes while many others chose to experience the outdoors just by walking and enjoying the sunshine.  Participants sampled delicious treats from our course tent vendors including chai tea and biscotti and chocolate tortes from two of our newest vendors Tasty Layers and 501 Bar & Grill, respectively.  Afterward the women enjoyed being pampered with chair massages, manicures, hair refreshers, make-up tips and foot massages.  If that weren’t relaxing enough, the women tasted delicious wines and enjoyed a delectable chocolate fountain and buffet.  The event runs smoothly and is hugely successful each year due to our dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors.  Please see below for pictures from this year’s event and a list of our sponsors, tent sponsors, and pamperers and remember to visit these community minded businesses in the future.  Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Wine, Women and Chocolate on Saturday, February 5, 2011!

BoysGirlsClubLogoSmallThe Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint has one goal: provide every child of Mid-Michigan an opportunity to chase and realize his or her dreams. We do this by providing a healthy and safe environment where boys and girls can learn the life skills necessary to become successful in today's society. We promote teamwork, diversity, respect and the importance of being active in the community.

We help boys and girls with their homework, encourage artistic expression, and focus on respect. We encourage the kids to explore their creative talents, and strive to give them the confidence to dream big. We help the boys and girls of today to become the men and women of tomorrow.
