The IMA Iron Man Ride For Kids attracted approximately 60 riders and drivers. This event helped the IMA Recreation Association raise more than $5,000, which will help promote our mission of providing recreational programs and opportunities for children and families throughout Genesee County. Our event partners, the GLS Building Trades and Auto City Speedway, and our generous sponsors certainly helped in the success of the event. Participants rode over 70 miles, made 5 mystery pit-stops, took two laps around Auto City Speedway and were given entrance to the speedway races that night! All involved had a great time and are looking forward to another great year in 2009 when we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the IMA Iron Man Ride!
